1 Use of the App

TaqwaLock is an iOS application that helps users stay consistent with dhikr by temporarily locking selected apps using Apple's Screen Time API. The app is free to download and use.

You may only use the app for its intended purpose. Any misuse, including attempts to bypass or manipulate its locking features, is prohibited.

2 No Account Required

You are not required to create an account to use TaqwaLock. All data — including your streaks, session history, and dhikr counts — is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to external servers.

3 Third-Party Services

We may use trusted third-party providers to help improve the app experience. No personally identifiable information is stored on external servers. Your data is never sold or shared with third parties for advertising purposes.

4 Restrictions

You agree not to:

We reserve the right to restrict access if the app is used in ways that violate these terms or compromise its functionality.

5 Age Requirement

TaqwaLock is rated 4+ on the App Store and is intended for users who are able to engage with its spiritual purpose. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising use by minors.

6 Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We make no guarantees regarding effectiveness, availability, or uninterrupted operation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of TaqwaLock.

7 Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes go into effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We'll do our best to communicate significant changes.
